For months now I have been turning over ideas in my head, patterns, designs. The possibilities seem rather endless, and my enthusiasm was bubbling over the edge. With what few beading supplies I had left over from previous projects, I set about on this journey, creating French Beaded Flowers.
I have a few hairclips almost completed at this point. I'm still on the lookout for some nice quality combs or clips to attach them to. I also plan on finishing the stems with either ribbon or silk thread.
The first one is a modified orchid.
The second is an abstract piece based on a few different petal shapes combined with some blue Swarovski crystals to highlight the tips of the stamens.
I have a third hair clip, as of yet unphotographed, (thanks to perpetual camera issues). It is bright red and also abstract in shape.
In the coming weeks I plan on posting more pictures of the pieces I'm currently working on. Some lilies and a small potted hydrangea arrangement.
